The Arctic-Temp® series produces dense, hard-cracked ice using Holiday Ice’s proprietary double-walled vertical evaporator tubes, which freeze ice simultaneously on both interior and exterior surfaces. This dual-surface freeze process delivers faster harvest cycles and more efficient heat exchange than single-wall tube designs, reducing energy draw across the 24-hour continuous production runs standard in industrial seafood environments. The freeze zone contains no augers, gears, or rotating seals, eliminating the most common mechanical failure points in high-volume ice production. All Arctic-Temp® units are built from Type-304 stainless steel and equipped with Copeland compressors, using standard refrigeration components available through local wholesalers in virtually every market Holiday Ice serves.
