Mountville, PA Haunted Attraction Invites Returning Talent and First-Time Recruits to Free Outdoor Event
MOUNTVILLE, PA / ACCESS Newswire / May 7, 2026 / Field of Screams, one of the top-rated haunted attractions in the United States, will host its second bonfire and recruitment night of the 2026 season on Friday, May 8 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The event takes place at Parking Lot 2/3, 191 College Avenue, Mountville, PA 17554, and is open to anyone interested in joining the cast and crew for this year’s show.
Following the strong turnout at the April 10 bonfire, the May 8 event continues Field of Screams’ spring recruitment series. The evening offers prospective cast and crew members a relaxed environment to meet the team, gather around the fire, and learn what it takes to be part of the attraction. Returning cast members and first-timers are equally welcome, and no prior experience is required.
“The April bonfire was a great kickoff, and we’re looking forward to seeing more new faces on May 8,” said Jim Schopf, owner of Field of Screams. “Whether you came out last month or this is your first time hearing about us, the bonfire is the easiest way to meet the crew and figure out if this is something you want to be part of. No RSVP is required. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket. The event is free and open to the public.

A Season of Events Ahead
The May 8 bonfire is the second of three recruitment events planned for the spring, with a final date on June 5. Field of Screams recently hosted its annual Halfway to Halloween Music Fest on May 2, and the Baby Animal Festival at Corn Cob Acres is scheduled for May 16 and 17.
